Blog: Dyslexia – a personal story from our Associate Director, Clare

Source: Blog - Dyslexia

I’m Clare, the Associate Director of In Diverse Company and Charlie’s mum. I am writing a blog about my experience of having a son with dyslexia. I want to share to start a conversation on the topic and hear and learn from others’ experience. I hope this might help me and others navigate the challenges of supporting someone close to ensure they are included and supported despite their difference from others. Please do share your comments, thoughts, suggestions and reactions. I’m very keen to learn from others.

I know Charlie. He’s certainly all of those things. And it’s great that he has parents who celebrate the positives. I have other friends who are coping with children with special needs, and my observation is for adults to be as kind as Charlie. As parents we need to support one another.

Hi Clare. I didn’t know Charlie had dyslexia Though I am sure this makes no difference to how much he loves and is loved by all those in his sphere! In my very limited experience of this condition, I can honestly say that it appears that most of those who have it seem to dig down into resources about which the rest of us are blithely unaware! I have no doubt that Charlie will be a success at whatever he pursues not despite his dyslexia but possibly because of it and how resilient it makes him. Keep up the blogging and get that conversation moving.

  8. Thе biggest factor for maintrnance is tank stabіⅼіty.
As llong ɑs it is all totallү running properly ɑlong with your fish aгe healthy, there is no need for any maϳor change, evеn if the
pH ᧐r hardness appears to be slightly outt of rangе; only incrеases or decreases in thе major aquarium water parameters ill need your
    careful but immediate attentiоn.
