The world of fashion and beauty is fast paced with trends changing constantly, especially in the wake of the fast fashion dominance. This speed of change poses several questions. How does this speed of work and change impact employees? How do employees deal with the pressure of ‘keeping up’, both from a brand perspective but a personal one too? We know anecdotally from employees from large fashion houses that there is a huge pressure to look a certain way, and if you don’t this could result in not getting that promotion, or not fitting in.

We are going to have an open conversation with several key figures from the fashion and beauty world, who will share their thoughts on how the industry could be more inclusive. We will discuss ‘going back to basics’ in terms of individual, team and leaders’ behaviours and how organisations operate, and how this could create positive and sustainable change and a more inclusive environment.
