LGBTQ+ young people are sadly some of the most excluded in society today. This can have a long-lasting effect on them as individuals both from a psychological and social point of view, as well as from an academic and professional perspective.
Our event will focus on lived experiences of inclusion and exclusion throughout our speakers’ lives – from coming out, overcoming obstacles, and navigating the workplace and beyond. We will cover what organisations can do to better support people from the LGBTQ+ community and how to ensure the culture is inclusive for LGBTQ+ people at all stages in their working life.
