Technology Project Manager


Overview of position:

  • Follow up on dependencies, remove project process bottlenecks, escalate and resolve issues
  • Report project status and progress on a regular basis
  • Provide consolidated reports, track the accuracy of project estimates
  • Work with one or more delivery teams that include developers, QA, analysts, UI/UX designer
  • Sprint planning and backlog grooming, retrospective
  • Prepare project artifacts (docs, reports, KPIs, etc)
  • Supervise services and projects delivery. Ensure projects start, tailoring and delivery according to the best fit delivery model and best project management practices
  • Provide high quality portfolio risk analysis, tracking, acting upon and communicating risks properly
  • Control KPIs, such as profitability, revenue, utilization, attrition and take active actions to keep them at best possible level
  • Be resource and people manager, actively participate in planning required hires in collaboration with Recruiting team, ensure onboarded people’s professional growth
  • Plan resources efficiently to provide best possible utilization, compose teams so they deliver best possible balance of quality and profitability

Person specification:


  • Having strong attention to detail
  • Deep knowledge of web application delivery processes and procedures
  • Experience with preparing project proposals for web and (ideally) mobile projects (length, number of man-hours);
    — high level of responsibility, adherence to deadlines
  • Experience using task tracking systems e.g. Jira
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Strong tactical planning and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with customers and project teams
  • Effective communication
  • Organization and Planning skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • 4+ years of experience in managing software development projects
  • Experience with Kanban/Scrum process
  • English — Advanced User
