Pride 2020

Pride 2020

Let’s shift Pride month to Pride all year

This year, Pride month was much different than usual, but what it stands for remained unchanged. We at IDC are celebrating Pride by looking back on one of our conversations earlier this year with Leng Montgomery, who is a Diversity and Inclusion leader and Trans specialist from the UK. In this video, he speaks about his personal journey of transitioning, how people around him at work or socially respond to his identity, and how he fights prejudices and biases by acting on them and progressing. A truly inspirational story.

We firmly believe that more needs to be done around LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace; individuals shouldn’t have to face some of the challenges that Leng bravely opens up about. Rather than just talking about it, let’s start making it easier for the community by taking action. Now is the time for organisations to really make a difference.

We are glad to be organising a week-long event in July – Making Equal=Equal: It’s time gender equality is looked at in its fullest sense – which will touch upon various topics such as issues with gender, behaviour and bias as well as championing change through looking at the issues from an intersectionality perspective.

What we’re talking about

Johanna launched In Diverse Company in 2019 out of a strong belief that there was a better way to create and measure inclusive cultures.

We live by our values, and our approach to our own recruitment policy, team and purpose reflects this. We are a tech company driven by a senior team that are experts in people, with one of the only female CEOs of a HR tech platform across the world.

Our Learning Platform, Include™ is the only LXP that combines Learning and Engagement. Include aims to create more inclusive working cultures and is underpinned by social and behavioural psychology principles.
