D&I ROI™

ED&I ROI

A tool that incorporates data science and human expertise to provide key ED&I insights to your organisation

What is ED&I ROI?

The ED&I ROI is a bespoke assessment tool that will provide you with clear evidence, both qualitative and quantitative, that enables you to make the case for your investment in ED&I work.

In Diverse Company’s ED&I ROI tool incorporates data science and human expertise to analyse your organization. The fundamental principle behind the ED&I ROI is that there is a business case for investment in diversity and inclusion. However, ED&I is a complex issue and it can be extremely challenging for businesses to understand how their ED&I agenda and performance are related.

What happens with the tool?

The approach of the ED&I ROI is broken down into two phases:

  1. Quantitative analysis: We investigate this through demographic analysis, enhanced customer understanding, and company performance. We consider various demographics for your organization’s internal employee population. Some examples are gender, education level, ethnicity
  2. Session and Focus Groups: The quantitative analysis is an in-depth review of your organization’s existing data, while the focus groups aim to gather new qualitative data by understanding how your employees feel.

We then look for insight on multiple levels, considering the demographic composition of your organisation. The aim is to answer questions such as:

Are there observable biases within certain teams, divisions, or job levels?

Do we find discrepancies in average salary for different demographics when considering job level?

What are the potential impacts of the above on team dynamics and overall company performance?

Our data scientists, psychologists and ED&I experts use this analysis to explain what is happening and why within the organisation in relation to diversity and inclusion.

Through understanding both the what and the why, we can recommend interventions that are proven to have an impact and increase the inclusive culture within your organisation. The results of the audit are presented to the Senior Leadership team and accessible through our platform, Include LXP™.

Unlike other ED&I audits, our ED&I ROI™ tool continues to track your organisational data through and monitors the link between diversity, inclusivity, interventions and company performance (all aspects, not just financial performance).
